Hi,

Anyone using a 1000CC Toyota Passo? How is the car? Generally how is the fuel consumption of the vehicle. How many Km's does it do for a litre?

U could go for an alternative cause some passos are looking very old for their age

The vitz has a better look for very little more dosn't it

Hi Clarks, as you rightly said the price difference is not very much. But when i compared a passo and vits the passo had more space than the vitz. Also I didn't like that meter board coming in the center of the dashboard in the vitz.

That's why thought of going for a Passo.

My gf drives a 1000cc Passo. I must say it's a very spacious car. It's comfy as any vehicle available for that price range. In fact, I find it more comfy than the new Vitz and jap Swift beetle. In city driving, with traffic, it does around 10kmpl. She used it for few years now with no real problems. Looks wise some may not like it, but it has got its own looks I guess.

Only bad side is it doesn't have the best pick-up as it's only a 1000cc engine. If only two are in the car you don't really feel it. But with 4-5 ppl, u really start feeling it. I guess that will be common for any 1000cc engine.

Overall, I see it as a good spacious, comfy, economical ride.

I don't know how far true the given datas . I bought a 1.3 Lt one for my wife about 2 weeks ago and it's trip comp. says avarage 9.8 km/Lt still. It runs mostly short distance and we could not check by refilling the tank. When i pump next time exactly i could say the fuel consumption.

Any way the car is good in all respect for a small family or a girl.Good pulling power and spacious.Only thing is when you ride on a gravel road, The steering rack rattle a bit.

Thanks Jaga. Yeah, depending on the varied test environment the mileage might vary. One of my friend confirmed that it does 10-12KM in colombo, which is good. Yeah the steering rack rattle is common with all EPS I was told, so nothing to worry about.
