Hi guys, what do u think about the new Mazda 2 (some call it zoom ).. i felt its an absolutely gorgeous car.. the brand new is around 4m it seems. i wonder how the unregistered would be.

anyone drove it, or have any ideas abt this car?

Hey did you notice the one that's on display at C**M**T? Kinda looks like a small sedan? thought it was interesting.

Just to be clear, are you talking about the mazda 2 Hatch back or the sedan ? The hatch back is called Mazda demio and goes arround 3m. Haven seen the sedan version arround here though.

the agent has it. BTW demio is JDM and mazda 2 is export regardless of whether it's a sedan or hatchback.

not really dude... i've seen the internet. its the US version.. there a version done for Asia, Ive seen it at the colombo auto show. its a sedan car. go and have a look at the agents

Well you didn't tell him you were looking for the Mazda 2 Sedan before he replied did you?

Demio is the JDM name regardless of the body-type. Also the sedan we get in Sri Lanka is probably from the Mazda factory in Thailand and they weren't manufactured or sold in Japan. Thus the reason you don't see any unregistered Mazda 2 sedans.

Let me wikipedia that for you....

"The sedan version is built in Thailand and China and sold in Southeast Asia and Australia, it is not sold in Europe."
