Dear friends,

I am to buy a Pajero io.

Many confusing ideas around.

1. The GDI system and its price. Is it a high cost replacement ? Is it a very vulnerable part of the vehicle?

2. The gas pedal sensor vulnerability?

3. The use of premium grade petrol?

3. The frequency of servicing injectors/GDI system?

Kindly seeking you comments on my Grey areas.

Run a search there are plenty of threads on it.

1. GDI pump replacement costs 60,000 for a used part. Labour should be about 2000.

2.Not sure what you mean by gas pedal sensor but I've never heard of that issue not have I had issues with the pedal.

3.Only use 95 octane.

4.Injectors don't need to be serviced more frequently than any other car. Use a decent fuel injector cleaner every now and then and you should be fine.

Once again, run a search. This has been discussed before.

Yes AFAIK...although now that you mention it I really can't remember......All I remember it taking off the trottle and putting it back together....
