Agree with Nilantha. Old Toyota better than new Indian! Many factors : 1)You could most definitely use it..hack it and sell it for more than what you bought it for 2)Parts very easy to find 3)Not as fuel efficient as Indian but by Sri Lankan car standards does very close to VVT fuel echonomy levels 12kmpl or more.(if driven slow) 4)I think Reinforcement much better than an indian. You could get first hand experience but looking at accidents! Indian cars are built for cheap run on maintenance cost and fuel! AFTER ALL IF ITS A CAR IT HAS TO BE A TOYOTA! By the way if you decide to buy a marutee, never put expensive oil's like Mobil Synthetic...Its a massacre to do it! Listen!one of my friends bought a Civic RS 1999 Multimatic. after riding it for 2 months gearbox busted! Checked with agents for price and they said a thumping Rs:250,000 and since he couldn't afford it checked with second hand ..and that Rs50,000/=. He had no choice but to replace second hand and that too got busted after 4 months now..Next he bought a civic SIR II in this reverse gear always jumps forward He was so frustrated he gave up honda and now into Mazda....I begin to think if its something wrong with person or something wrong with the model....or Finally with the brand(which I don't think it is!) Since I see so many Civic RS's running around. If you want more gearbox info give me a buzz I can give you his contact so to see how he will praise the CVT!

No muchung! i dought it..since its just 250cc I dont think it has even 50hp..My CBR600F4 had I think about 80hp still I couldnt go with an subaru! Most big bikes go around with illegal number plates on road..so u never know whether its a 250 or more unless u really know about bikes! They are plenty of 1000cc bikes on road! But they hang on to 250cc registered number plates!

Guys please note that only son's of MP's and political leaders are exempted from this! So as peri said this is a bad idea for general people like us. I have seen the same number plate twice on the two different cars!

I go to either carmart or senok for engine tuneups or for any engine diagnostic work when the VAG-COM is required. Are you sure that Car Mart has Diagnostic and tunning equipment?(eg;O2 sensor) I dought it since when I had my Mazda(BHA3P 1997) I went their once(3 years back). They Charged me 1500bucks for tunning ..which I would say a fairly low rate at Agents but the items used for Tuneup in the bill was Cotten wool, Hot water, sand paper,petrol etc. Funny isnt it. After a month exactly the tunning was wrong again. No wonder....!!!! Finally after about an year after I met Thi*****(guy who works and tunning) at Car Mart at Keels he said that they always remove the battery terminals for 2 hrs and keep..and refix it so that the deafult map loads and the car is smooth ..thats it. And they make the customer pay bloody 1500 for doing that and mention cotten wool,petrol,sand paper etc..Good for you you've chosen the most pathetic place to do a tuneup. But I don't know the stuation now maybe they have spend a couple of lacks/millions and got some equipment...

You see you need to be 5km within range of the nearest SLT exchange they said, which in my case Iam not. Well one of my friends is next to the SLT exchange kelaniya and he has a ADSL home package. Well once I went there and used it..Gosh!!!its a curse to use such a slow link. you get about 190kbps. :angry-smiley-048: Compared to the link I have now I get 768kbps most of time out of a 1MB shared..Hope you understand the difference. And yet price is not the only consideration ..Quality is what matters. Sofar since then I have been using many P2P's simultaneously. Namely Emule,Utorrent & Bittorrent. And sofar no limitation has happend on me. I get a total throttled download in emule of 120kbps. Which is in Sri Lankan terms superb speed! But there terms and conditions say something more and them been harsh on heavy downloaders! Do not hesitate to get it for home.
