  2. Taking into account the local climate, the recommendations have been made, then stick to them,.
  3. A sensitive subject it is,.. the viscosity change can not be directly linked to the rough running of the engine ,better get the ignition system checked as it is a prime suspect , due to possible water contamination of the electronics. .
  4. Don't get one if you're concerned with fuel consumption.
  5. Since when did Korean cars and Jap cars end up in shortlists together? each one vehicle in your list have their unique ups and downs.
  6. Since the car is old, look for one with a good maintenance history. Basically at their age, everything which could go wrong would have been fixed at least once by the dealer or a private garage. Just have your future head ache, |I mean flashy showoff, properly inspected by a trained,experienced person. Check the A/c for powerful operation on a warm day. as the evaporator replacement is a dash off job. Cheers. TT.
  7. Good budget to start with, just remember, you 're getting a used car . So leave enough funds to get what ever you get back safely on the road,. plus insurance.

  9. First of all good thinking to change your trans fluid before your slushbox blew up. Local ageent only stocks TC CVT ATF
  10. Good thing ya don't have a FLUX CAPACITOR in your Pug.
  11. The battery is there to start the engine. the alternator runs the show.

  13. May be a loose-connection developed while someone clocked the odometer or removed a dash warning .like ch-engine.?
  14. The D8 's batt case only allows a 55-65 amp DIN battery. it cannot be upgraded as the space is limited. the only upgrade is the alternator. The factory valeo unit is adequate for a small system. as it's been put in with the factory A/c.
  15. Use a cap to smooth out the spikes in the power take up.
  16. weak pump.? Is the idle speed slower when the engine's warm?
  17. By a proper Beemer if you want one. The wiring is prob ,just chopped and the dash meters/lights not working,. TT.
  18. You may have a serious safty issue if the coolant gushes onto your feet ! and possible engine damage by running with low coolant. Get the car looked at by a pro immediately.
  19. Where ever you go engine wash is a no-no. Electronics never got on with water.
  20. No wonder new cars with 5000km were for sale here by the original owner..This car is bad in a whole new level. !
  21. YO welcome. You need to get a reputed fitter to do the wiring. as your car has a complexed electrical system. any cut/chop is not good and will not be easily diagnosed if the cad developers a fault. TT.
  22. Start your diagnosis by checking the brake pad thickness, then check the fluid level of your transmission,.
  23. Possible slipping belt?
  24. A new car is always a new car, no matter how you look at it.
  25. Your idiot greese monkey will be the death of your autobox. Turning on the engine with no fluid in the transmission is a recipe for disaster.
