Guys, where can I buy a Scanner compatible with both ODB1 and ODB2 in Sri Lanka? I have found some stuff on eBay but they cover only few brands(mostly Ford, GM, Crysler etc) on ODB1. I need a scanner with ODB1 interface that suports common brands available in SL (mostly Jap) and of course no probs with ODB2, as it is common in most of the vehicles after 96. Thx in advance

My bet is with Mean Green z28 I removed mine too n used it for RAM. hmmmmmm So its not only for Turbos but for NAs as well. Whats dis for? Its hosed' between the air filter n the engine. Is it to regulate pressure? or carry out excess air back to the filter from throttle body(butterfly)? or is it totally OT?

What do u rekon the price would be? IMHO no fun in buying stuff when u can simply DIY for far more cheaper price. Planing to do it on december. Currently doing a project on intake.

Been there. They do a good job on buffing but dont apply any sealer or protective meterial. So eventualy it turns back yellow after a moth or so. And instead of mercury coating the reflector they paste a silver sticker. They charge arround Rs.750 per lamp for full resoration (inside out). I've found the toothpaste solution handy in most of the time. Or u can use Vi*m (green bar) as well. Any1 know a place to buy transparent stickers to paste on top of the lights after cleaning them. No not the rockblockers. For that price I can find a good used lamp.

Its no big issue. Just have to break the bulb n use the holder. With good soldering n help of silicon no probs. No point of doin the mod for reverse cus it'll reduce the ammount of light. One hint though if u put LEDs to indicators it will start to blink in a very high rate. It caused by low wattage in LED. Can solve by using high watt resistors.

I use LEDs. I just buy LEDs n resistors n do a DIY custom job.

May b inside the engine. Well its all of the above. Since I can have only 1 choice it'll be the bus F@#$%s. I get soooo pissed I could eat their F@#in brains off. I dunno y but when I see such drivers I just want to overtake and see their face and it tend to calm me down.
