WHAT? The RZ1 is FF? Who'd have thunk?!
I'm fond of the Celeste myself, but I've rarely seen the early model with the chrome bumpers here. The later model with the steel bumpers are common though.
Good recommendations, iRage! Another is the Nissan RZ1, which looks a lot like an AE86 Levin. I've seen one or two pop up on the classifieds, so I'll keep you informed if I come across one.
And then there's the Mitsubishi Celeste.
How about a Datto 510 four door? There were some examples for sale as noted by Komi and Sampath. You would end up spending some cash on maintenance or repairs (depending on the condition, of course) but it would be ideal for light running.
My other recommendation is a KE72V, but you already knew that!
On the topic of Beetles, I traveled in a mid Fifties VW beetle on Sunday. Lovely! Apparently my parents had a VW beetle before it was sold and the KSev took its place. Would I have liked the beetle instead of the KSev?
It's easy, just upload the image and copy the link that says "direct link" or similar and paste it on the "Image" option on the forum reply. (It's the 11th option from Bold, Italic and Underline options).
Through a photo sharing site (photobucket, flicker, etc) is the easiest, but I think you can attach one or two to the forum directly (although I've never used it)
Well, I love old Toyotas because they're simple and robust and a pleasure to drive. I've not driven a lot of cars (and I've never driven a sports car either) but from my limited experience, vintage Corollas are my favourites.
