thankz davinda .. machang i can't afford to own a R32 at home in SL and i have no ideas of working in SL too.theres no scope for the jobs we do and the selaries are peanuts compaired to what u get abroad ... what i was interested was in the aftermarket spareparts ... and durability to use it as a daily runner theres no RHD's here bro .. the whole road system is LHD and the don't allow any to be RHD except special cases most of the RHDs here are antique's and they never leave the garage's of the rich doods ... i really wanted to buy this cos i was fed up of using the bloddy beember nothing bad abt it just wanted to change the car ... intentions were different until i saw the R32 i wanted to buy a good old EK3 and mod it up and keep it as a second car .... but being a diehard skyline Fan from small time i had no second thoughts to buy this beauty from the crual owner who never treated her very wel in the first place ... if i'm bringin down a car to SL surely it wil be a 350Z and i'm pretty sure i won't be comming down for at least for the comming 2 years anyhow thankz for the info on the blue permit and i wil follow it up thankz again cheers

hey guys .... i was just driving along after work few days back and i saw a nissan skyline R32 just parked in some corner and as a skyline fan i was really interested and went for a look it was a left hand converted R32 and i managed to find the owner and he broke the ice ... which as a skyline fan i think is really nice price. u need to to some body work cos the whole car is a big fiberglass graveyard and a paint job is needed too with some interior styling... except that when i tried out the ride it was ok ... there were few porbs thoguh ... 1.suspention was gone ... u feel like ur in a rally of some kind when u drive in a bit bumpy service road 2. theres some funny sound comming when ur shifting from 2nd to 3rd the same sound is there when u down shift 3. lights are dim i just want ot kw guys .... are parts there in the market for a R32 and how much would it be .... and would it be a hopeless investment to buy off that R32 .. thankz in advance

i don't kw what Porsche design team & the management is thinking. r they gona quit from super car maker and become a saloon car maker ... first of all the design looks ugly ... seems like they worked this on the same cayenne platform where they screwed up and made one ugly SUV (but ppl r buying it like crazy). it just feels like a lowered cayenne in my eyes ... may be the platform is changing for porsche & they r focusing on alot of normal clients ... who wil surely go for this new 4door cAr over a lexus , merc or even a beemer .... but i guess with this model if they tired to Compete with the quattropote .. they are day dreaming cos that is the king in 4 door saloon sport cars i've seen lot of guys buy the Cayenne over the land cruser / lexus / infiniti / BMW even the merc SUV range. i was asking my self why and one day i asked one of the guys who bought one and he explained the price between cayenne and the others hv no big difference and u can easyly take her out to the club or some V*P party after a small 4x4 drive and for a day to day runner it's not that bad tooo he explained .... may be the fella is a rich dood and it was his way of thinking ... i don't kw but i would have always gone for a good old landy ... hope this won't be the case for the new porsche ... i can drive a bit more sporty when i'm on my way to drop my kids to school or my wife for shopping ... and i can drag with some dood who owns a cool ride with my full suit on ...:lolz but one thing is for sure for the guys who r just over the fence and who wants to show off a bit more than they have these new models of porsche wil surely fil the gap .....

machang davinda it'sa 96 model 325i 2door coupe .. it has some miles under the belt and it's left hand drive ... its the car i own here and was thinking to bring it home around end of next year .... thats why i was qurious ... abt the matter ...

and i guess with the new camaro in the market the mustang will no dought have to run a lot more harder to earn some money .... i'll take the camaro over the mustang with out thinkig ....camaro thats a hot ride ...

hey it seems like lots of marketing is going on with the mustang to market it ... like they took it for the new knight rider ..and high power new versions popin up i love the old mustang always been a dream to get my hands on that late 60's model ... but guys i'll say still how much u pump it up with media still its a mustang .. a fuel drinking junk on weels and i wil always take a pocket rocket made in japan over a american car ... japs stil rule ... and by the way when going to the club ... a sallon car would be my pick cos u have alot of empty space to play with on ur way home ...

sorry machang for the late riply got tied up with work ... machang if ur a married guy u can safely take ur kids to school and ... if the kids r small the interior will with stand the attack and for the weekend u cna go shopping with ur wiffy with out thinking abt boot space for ur shopping ... if ur talking abt the handling and performance it's pretty comfy fast and safe .... yes it looks a bit bulky (if ur going for thr 2000 /2002 model ) but i feel it's a good car and the service has to be done after every 10,000Km's .... it rarely brake downs so i think it's a good car to go for .... there are two models machang the station vagon model and the normal saloon model .... pick one which suits u the most and good luck and enjoying the open road .... cheers

Gemballa Porsches the name sounds funny but the ride isn't ..... damn what a ride ... the best u can get out of that car ... Daihatsu Naked seriously .... imagine a girl driving it to work every day ....

ppl i voted for the private bus drivers ... cos if u have high blood preasure surely u wil die in a trip from katharagama to colombo in one ....

i wil tell u to go for a legacy non turbo 2.0GL but if u can find a M/T tranny that would be great cos i heard from few of my frnds that the A/T has some probs after some time ... but if ur going for a auto check it well .... and u can always fit the turbo's when ever u have that extra buck ... i don't kw which country ur living in dood but u have to seriously think abt service charges too before u buy ur ride ... cos labour charges differ alot from brand to brand cos people charge u for a simple oil change different ammounts by looking at the ride u own ..... as hel razor said the Accord is a good thing to go for too i would too say thats a bullet proof car no headakes... but scoobies always had a edge over me on honda's tried both and if u want to enjoy ur ride a bit more scbooie is the best and u feel a bit more save with that all weel drive system when ur taking corners interior vice i love the scoobies layout but i guess u have a bit more boot space in the accord ..correct me if i'm wrong guys .... i also got into this tough spot to buy a car with these models and finally i went for a 96 model beemer which has the looks as wel as the performance ... and now i kw a guy who works at the garage so i kw guys over there won't screw me by telling a bunch of lies when i go for the service ...
