So the Corolla Hybrid did 650kms on a tank of fuel, and I think there's enough for for the office journey as well. Certified Thel Higana

The remaining distance display in mine just went blank, all the bars from the fuel gauge dropped and the low fuel light came on. I filled up 32 litres, which means theres approximately 4 litres left when the low fuel indicator comes on. Also the remaining distance indicator is far from accurate.

Saw an Overfinch today, red with CAI plates with Frontier lettering. Can't help but feel it was just Overfinch bits and bobs attached to an otherwise regular RR Vogue.

That's how the stuff works. You'll get an odd sound from the brakes for a day or so while the treatment does its thing.

There's no way to discern a 740 from a 760 aside from the emblem, apart from the fact that it's a USDM pre 1990 model. The alloys were options on both models.

The Corolla Hybrid's suspension is so plush compared to the Vios, it almost wafts. But then. most any other car is plusher when compared with the Vios. It's only now I've begun to really appreciate just how good the suspension on the Vios was. No diving under heavy, very little body roll, and the suspension really came into it's own at high speeds. The Corolla, while only a 100kgs heavier, feels almost like an SUV. However, the electric steering is surprisingly quick.

That still only happens with speed. If you drive slow enough, even bald tires will displace water. It's all about time vs displacement.

Nice review. IMO, the leaf is a fantastic car for what it does, I'm srsly considering getting one next year, if prices remain more or less the same.

Wow, such misinformation, much bullshit. Do you know what Hydroplaning is? It's the phenomenon of the tire riding _on_ the water that is standing on the road surface rather than through it. This happens when the speed of the car exceeds the tires' capability to displace water around the contact patch. It will happen regardless of whether cruise control is used or not, if the vehicle is moving fast enough.

The Maruto Alto is based on the Japanese Kei car of the same name, and has been ever since its inception, thus it is more or less a Kei car minus the K6A engine. -

There's a video floating around where they removed the sump of a car after adding this stuff and it ran without any oil basically. But who knows. -
