  1. Inspect the fuel filter, and replace if necessary.
  2. Samsung have phones designated Duos for dual sim. I've used the Galaxy Ace Duos and the Galaxy Y Duos, the former being the more powerful of the two. Both are android.
  3. Thats a tough one to answer.
  4. Really? What you consider to be an epiphany has in fact been common knowledge amongst the general populace of the country for ages. So like Pericles said, no.
  5. I recently drove both a brand new Tata 1512 and a just broken in LAL with the new Hino engine, and srsly, the LAL is leagues ahead now. No more double clutching, no more wrestling with the steering wheel, and no more bone jarring shifts into first (yey synchro gearbox!). I honestly believe its a proper driver's bus, it handles like it's on rails, although body roll could use a little more control (body pitches to around 45 degrees on tight 40km/h turns), but nothing a pair of sway bars cant fix. 0-100, I believe it comfortably beats the Tata, the Turbo versions taking just under a minute to reach the magic 3 digits on the speedo.
  6. Palm based PDA from a company called Handspring. This is the Visor Deluxe. The company went belly up a long time ago, so I bought a few for sentimental reasons. And yes Celltel because the older phones have the network names hardcoded without any ability to be overridden except by a logo. And the PDA is communicating with the Nokia through IR and there's a data connection established. I use the setup to check pop3 mail.
  7. Bullsht. You think they're going to get rid of the ICE that easily? FFS, the ICE is the one biggest limiting factor of the modern day vehicle, which is also what oil companies use to twist the arms of consumers, and by extension the manufacturers. The principle has been largely unchanged since the latter part of the 19th century. Why? Because companies have invested big into reciprocating piston based engines, and they've dug themselves into a nice comfy hole which they're very reluctant to come out of. There are far better designs out there, which with the proper investment would be vastly superior to a piston engine (consider the rotary engine, the piston engine's biggest threat and why even after 80 years it's little more than a novel idea).
  8. Looking for Cross type refills in SL. Any ideas?

  9. meh. this is what i use nowadays, to complement my TF101.
  10. Also, another Fisker went up in flames.
  11. It is. It's was built by Lamborghini Mexico and is called the DIablo Coatl. That's all I can remember from the top of my head. Check Lambocars for more info on this.
  12. Our eyes have always been open. Pointless thread.
  13. why?
  14. That Cobra is interesting. Was it imported or built here? If built here, is it registered as a kit car?
  15. Get the mechanicals sorted out of before everything else. A mechanically sound car is always better than one which only looks good.
  16. If its continuous its bad. If it goes away then its fine. The drier in your a/c probably takes a while to kick in.
  17. Biggest fail this week: air guitaring to Dream Theater on earphones during a meeting when I thought I wouldn't be seen.

      Haha awesome... DT rules!

  18. The mist coming out of the vents is commonly caused by excessive moisture in the blown air, which condenses since the temp is below what they call the dew point (same phenomenon causes condensation on your beer mug). One cause might be the major humidity we've been seeing the past few days, but a more plausible explanation would be that your a/c's water drainage system is clogged up, which means there's no way for the moisture which has been separated from the blown air to escape. Get it looked at ASAP, and get your compressor looked as well. I believe all your woes center around it.
  19. Do you mean your intermittent mode is not working? If so get the electricals checked, the timer circuit is probably shot. I've never seen a car with two intermittent modes and just one continuous. There usually INT, LO and HI marked on the wiper stalk. Newer cars have a variable intermittent wipers, usually adjust via a ring next to the wiper switch.
  20. omg dude, stop making new threads to post crap like this. Use the post whoring thread ffs.
  21. There's no entry for peon, so I can't participate :/
  22. To be fair to Clark's Son, I believe he was alluding to the mindset of those who choose to rape and torture Civics with decals and body kits galore, ample examples of which are a plenty to be found (when was the last YOU saw a stock EG8?).
  23. Buy a Wii for your kids. They're fun and the games have almost no learning curve at all. Plus the fact that you get the motion controller in the box (equivalent XBOX 360 Kinect or PS3 sex toy ice cream cone Move controller is an extra, or the bundle costs way more). The very fact that physical interaction is built into the Wii will mean that your kids will be moving around a lot when using it, where as the other two's motion controllers are still very much a novelty item and not much (I have used a Kinect before returning it). Thus, you'll prevent them from becoming couch potatoes and they wont hog the games for hours on end ignoring everything else, they'll want to turn it off once they get tired.
