    The New Patrol looks very soft. tech and mechanical updated but, come on man make it more muscular and remove the chrome and huge bumpers. Atleast the Armada Pro4X looks nice

      Obese station wagon is what came to mind the first time I saw it. The launch show was more impressive than the looks of the Patrol.

      I think they seem to have targeted the affluent Middle Easterners who want the bling along with the capability to cater to their desert adventures (and those who want one of these things to just cruise the highway). It would be okay if they kept selling the Y61, but since that is retiring next year, Nissan may regret not having a very utilitarian 4x4 in its lineup. OR it could be that if the rumors of a new Pajero are true, it might be that Mitsu and Nissan are in agreement that the Pajero would be the more off-road focused vehicle and this the off-road station wagon. It makes sense so that they don't kill each other in the market. 

      Even the LC300 is like a huge station wagon, but that, for some reason, looks butch.

      Yes seriously.. having seen so many Y60s and Y61s mostly here in SL, and Y62s in Dubai which is not widely seen in SL, the image I had about the Patrol like completely swept away.. I don't want the new Y63 :D. It looked like a comfy big teddy bear which you can comfortably sleep on rather than the sturdy, hard working monster look. It could be many reasons as stated above though.
