What the mighty Type.R got unseated? Whoa...AWD on the Toyota got the power down better in the wet I guess. Would be interesting to see how it would be in dry conditions though...

That's easy to find too (from Australia) as there are lots of beefed-up aftermarket suspension, steering & stabilizer parts from suppliers like Ironman, ARB, Toughdog etc for the Y61 And since both ARB and Ironman have local representatives in Colombo, it should be easy to sort out...

Boring? Nopes. The only boring thing about this is that I can't afford it The new GT3 version of the 992-generation Porsche 911 is almost here.It will have a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six with over 500 horsepower. There are also some notable interior and exterior changes to the GT3 compared with the standard 911.

🙃 As mentioned above by one of the members, I'd rather have a Pajero MK2 or an older Toyota Harrier...

The accelaration on that thing is just insane...(Spoiler: he does hit 295kmph. And even though I was fully expecting parts to come flying off the car at that speed, nothing did...)

😁 K here's the next one: Its very popular hence the little bits and pieces. If I put up a headlight or a rearlight in full, its pretty much game over...

I guessed the ' Bentley badges' but when I googled: It was- Only the door handles! So even the badges are different? lol.

When someone says their sports car does 0-60 in 4s sec I think: Shit that's fast. And when a carmaker says their 3-row full size SUV does 0-60 in 4s I say: Wow! This is truly a great time be alive! 2021 BMW Alpina XB7

Is it difficult (or impossible) to learn to drive properly after the age of 35?
Kavvz replied to DineshKalu's question in General
Ask yourself: Is it possible to have sex for the first time after 35? Even though you've never seen another person naked before or gone solo? Yes? Of course it's yes! Same situation with driving: Its all good. Get in there buddy! And like sex, practice makes perfect. (Also like with sex it helps if you have someone who's good at it to help you figuare things out. Your progress with be much faster that way and you'll also end up more confident. So ask a friend to hang out and give you some lessons...with the driving, that is, not with the other thing.) -
Bet it was a Sri Lankan comment! (Remember what happened to all those helpful little bottles of hand sanitizer that businesses initially left out next to high contact areas? Lasted 5 mins in most cases....)

lol. Sugar Daddy>?! Really? Okay, cool. (But am pretty sure chasing down Preseas isn't what Sugar Daddy's do. I think they end up having a lot more fun than that... )

Ah! So its more of a hobby then. Okay, I guess I understand a bit. So I guess there maybe a method to the madness after all...

Huh? Isn't that easier than running around trying to find a white Presea in good condition and then spending months and countless visits to various garages fixing it up? (A visit to the RMV and a day wasted there seems relatively simplistic in comparison to the alternative: The hassle of hunting down a white Presea car and then wasting time reconditioning it back up to a usable level...)

Well, it finally got a bit interesting: @Junkfriend is about to switch from a LandRover Discovery / 400hp SUV to a DFSK 580 no...

Wow. So Ja-Ela is where the good life is at then huh>? Nice. As for the wife, mother, mother in law, food situation: Sounds AWESOME. The perfect setup! One of the many perks of being married to the right person!

WOW! Sounds awesome, and it certainly sounds like something that needs a build thread..!! (Or is there one that's up already that I've missed?) Also: Am looking to buy a basic spray gun and compressor (Mostly to fool around with on various projects, paint, rust proofing etc.) but I don't want to spend bucket loads, but I also don't want to make any dumb penny-wise-pound-foolish type purchases: Is there a minimal compressor and spray gun combo that you could recommend? So far, research indicates that I need to get a compressor with at least 200 liters per minute or 7.5 cfm of air delivery and that the spray gun doesn't really matter (as in you can get away with any of the cheaper ones). Your thoughts?

My question is: why didn't u just paint it white? I mean you spent all that money and effort restoring it and fixing it up, why not just take one more step if you wanted a white one, instead of selling it for a mere Rs. 50,000 profit?

lol ! Well glad that's the case. Good to have another Nissan fan around. But please, no stalking random aunties in Presea cars this time around okay...?
-
But @PreseaLover its always better to eat healthy and adopt a healthy lifestyle regardless of your age. (Just like its always better to do regular oil changes and preventive maintenance on your car rather than try to get rid of engine sludge after it forms etc... Its not a perfect analogy, but you get the idea right?)

Its fascinating hearing about your life, and I always enjoy your posts about your life, your various experiences with cars as well as your memories of Colombo. And Thank you for the kind advice Mr. @Sylvi Like you, I too, am trying hard to change my lifestyle a bit and eat healthier foods: May we both succeed in our quest!
