  1. You guys have taken a perfectly good fantasy and ruined it with all the details... Trip was to Sweden or Estonia for some fun and 'relaxation' No stopping in between for sight seeing unless it's Amsterdam
  2. You should be able to see some small vacuum tubes near the throttle body. Make sure that those tubes are not damaged or have any rips on them. Not too sure about your car but on most, there is a VSV valve that opens to bypass the throttle body to keep your engine from dying when PS pump is under load. If one of those tubes or the VSV valve is damaged, it could introduce more air than necessary when the throttle up is activated.
  3. Resetting your ECU will not fix any fuel injection issues that you may have. Your car will run rough for a bit until the computer 're-learns' the proper parameters but it will be back to where you are right now. Have you checked your O2 sensors to make sure that they are functioning properly and the ECU is getting the correct signal? Your car will run on open loop at idle and full throttle. Everything in between will be run in closed loop, which means your ECU need to get the right signals, particularly from your O2 sensors to make the proper air fuel ratio adjustments. Given that your injectors are open for longer, based on your information above, leads me to think that the computer is 'thinking' that the air fuel ratio is off and trying to compensate for it by adding more fuel. This information is taken directly from your O2 sensors.
  4. Brilliant pictures. Rare site to see on on the road let alone one being loaded into a plane. Thanks for sharing them AMG.
  5. This is a brilliant project that is well documented. Hard to imagine the amount of work and details involved in making this happen not to mention the technical knowledge. Very well done sleeper to be driving around in. Lots of pictures to see the workmanship level of detail. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4515333&page=1
  6. good laugh... http://www.malhanga.com/videosflash/
  7. I'd divorce my wife and marry this if I could. Unlike the little woman, I'd get to pound thought the gears anytime I want...
  8. No it's two different things all together. EFI controls your fuel system while the VTEC is your cam profile. All VTEC engines are EFI but not all EFI engines are VTEC. To a degree, a VTEC engine will give you good gas mileage since it optimizes the torque curve of an engine. I recommend that you read up on the two to get a better understanding of their functions. VTEC http://www.answers.com/topic/vtec EFI http://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com...+Fuel+Injection
  9. EFI = Electronic Fuel Injection VTEC = Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control EFI generally get better fuel mileage than the carb variant. VTEC is a more efficient engine than the non VTEC version and has a better torque curve and performance.
  10. On-board shot was great. Cpt. slow sucks for getting to do this...

  12. RIP to the rider and my condolences to the family and friends. Very unfortunate accident and some very bad choices were made if the rider decided to do any kind of riding without the front brakes since that's where you get nearly 100% of the braking on a hard emergency stop. Back brakes are useless in an emergency. Lack of helmet and other protective gear didn't help the situation much either. Very sad.
  13. http://www.thelocal.se/20694.html Or Estonia, simply for their language.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlXZoBkZjs0 Have a great weekend guys.

    Great Crash Video

This was such a bizarre accident that it is hard to believe that HS died from it. The impact with the tire looked very minor. Very very unfortunate. RIP.
  15. Them goud hillbilly talk rai dare... eeeeeehawwwww LOL
  16. Very nice... "mud settles" Classic.
  17. There is another one circling around, though not the stretched version, that is $1 mill over the regular Veyron. These guys are milking this car to death will all the special editions and now the stretched version. Good way to part rich people with some of their currency.
  18. Not in SL but I have never laughed this hard in a long time. This guy's DeLorean is getting repossessed for not making the payments. I think it's safe to say that he's a Michael Jackson fan. The fun starts at about 2:40 to go. http://www.trutv.com/shows/operation_repo/...b9ymkv28aSbVaap
  19. Machan, I'll be logged in most of the day today. You are 12:30 hours ahead of both Dilan and me. How about Suzuka expert level? That'll give us 10 lap races rather than the 2 you get with others. Unfortunately we'll have to get in with everyone else. Do you have a Skyp or an instant messaging system? Will be easier to communicate than within the game. My Skype is Mani Jayasinghe in Encino AOL IM is SupraRacing G-mail is [email protected]
  20. I'm ready for battle as well.. All set up and waiting to pounce What time is good for you boys?
  21. Case of a split personality maybe?

  23. Was it right next to YAFOS? They may also have been testing the Flex Capacitor, the muffler bearing and the halogen fluid temperature. Please don't feel that way. I rather enjoyed the laughter, so THANK YOU! You're probably right. BTW. I have some ocean front property for sale in Kandy for very cheap...
