Good & helpful feedback! I did check on a ek3 vi vtec (96) (auto-multimatic) and it sure is quite a ride. There were a few glitches here and there, as in the retracts werent working on the side mirrors, the back power shutters didnt work from the drivers door, paint was not in topping condition, dash board speedo meter panel cover cracked etc. the guy was quoting 1.3mil , and it had done 93k on the clock. I was quite impressed with the car, but how would one as u say check on the condition of the gearbox? only thing i felt was that the car jerked when i changed from Econo to Sports which felt awkward. ANy help would be great guys! thanks v much!

Hi all, Need some advice on some cars which I have shortlisted below. Sorry toyota fans I've got no toyota on the list..(simply cuz they are too expensive) My budget is around 1.1m and on average i drive around 500kms a month. Please help me on deciding on one.. Im kinda confused. 1. Nissan Cefiro (A32) 2. Nissan Presia 1997 3. Mazda Demio 1997 4. Nissan Pulsar 5. Kia Spectra I'll be happy if the Cefiro gives me 7kmpl as I read in most of the discussions. I switched to Mobil soon after i did an overhaul, and yes it too did turn black within i think three weeks or so... probably we could rule out the cleaning agent of the lubricant??? cuz my engine was good as new when we put it back together.. good info though

Hi thanks for the info. but the prob is that my revenue licence has expired and i need to get an emmission test done to get it renewed. Was hoping to get a tune up before I do the test. So i was a bit reluctant to come all the way to col14 without my revenue licence. ( it sounds a bit weird i know )
