I faced a same sort of problem with my Lancer sometime back, I mean when only the left head light was working plus had the blue light on the dash was on, the fix was pretty simple actually.. the wire connecting to the right head light bulb had a loose connection so the guy who repaired it fixed it properly and it was perfect after that.. didn’t have to change the switch in my case.

Seems like something wrong with the break light switch, this is usually located under the dash, near the top of the brake pedal. it’s should attached to a small bracket that holds the switch, If u managed to find the switch, check to make sure that the brake light switch's electrical connection is firmly attached and that all of the wires connecting to the brake light switch are in good condition..this happenes to my lancer sometime back n i had to replace the switch...good luck mate!

Well, I simply don't like the look of the Passo bro, this could be my personal preferences... I have used a Shift (new model which ppl call the "Beetle") for sometime and for me it’s a pretty good car. Easy to maintain, good handling and has a good 2nd hand market...
