  1. Your 2nd problems seems like a slipping clutch. Best way to test it is to park the car on an inclined place. Shift to the top gear and with the handbrake engaged release the clutch as if your trying to pick up. If the clutch is in good condition the car would stall.
  2. Can be a swapped one
  3. It can be a D16Z too
  4. I would advice you to go for a single muffler. Try to get a good make and get the piping done. Two mufflers means more back pressure. And what is the engine?
  5. You want performance or just sound and looks ? Try Elcardo or WEPR and whats the vehicle?
  6. If you are going for Forced induction go with turbocharging. But i too recommend you to go for forged internals. But if it's a daily driver my advice is to keep it NA and go for some performance mods. It'll be much more reliable and drivable.
  7. Could be a breather hose Does the engine rev as it used to or is there a hesitation? Also is it with A/C on or off?
  8. HIDs are categorized by their kelvin value eg- 4300K, 6000K, 8000K. Yours should be 4300k if they are factory fitted ones. You can buy bulbs from places selling HID kits. Try Pet#o La#ka or Adv#nce Car Audio
  9. The cone intake shifts the power band up. So you'll have lesser lower end power. So it will effect the fuel consumption in city driving. Will not be a big impact though
  10. Dingy, Finding a 4DR5 for that price range is really difficult, but how about a Beetle? You can get a good 1300 bug for that price There was one with a 1600cc twin carb engine had all round disk+ semi bucket seats in front. Was advertised on HitAD last Sunday Your dad would enjoy driving around in a car like that
  11. Try Bosch Symphony, Fiamm or Hella. My personal preference is Bosch Symphony. They have a loud and clear tone and have been using them for 3 years
  12. Gm grey! How about getting the ECU chipped to release a few more horses
  13. Performance Exhaust
  14. Whats your budget? a 1.3 EFI engine mated to a 5 speed gearbox would be fun to drive
  15. If you want power go for a Forester but it's not easy to maintain. So i think an Xtrail would be better
  16. Alto K10 is far more better than the trend in terms of fuel efficiency, handling and after sales service
  17. I would pick the EP82 from your list, Also consider the Perodua kelisa and Maruti Zen (not the Estilo).
  18. If you want a Hot hatch I would suggest an EP 82 Starlet GT. But it's slightly above u r budget. But if you want a normal hatchback go for a Nissan March K11 or Starlet EP 82 if you don't mind a two door car go for a Corolla 2.
  19. The maruti 800 produces 37 bhp @ 5000rpm. It uses a camshaft different to that of the Omni. Therefore more bhp lesser torque
  20. It might be a clear sticker. I think I saw some headlight protective sticker advertised on HitAD.
  21. You will be able find an EG8 Carburetor model for that price. Also try Nissan FB13, AD Y10, Lancer CB8, Corolla Ae100 Also if you don't mind a Euro you could go for a BMW E30,Alfa 146 but as this is u r first car would recommend a Jap . Wouldn't recommend the Micro trend.
  22. Try pettah. Also keep in mind the saying "cheap things no good , good things no cheap". Whats the size of the speakers and whats your budget?
  23. I too agree but machng it's their money so can we can't make choices . Also fixing HIDs on the projector beam would improve visibility
  24. You can get accessories from Motor world Dehiwala and Elcardo Naraheinpita. For Reverse sensors and camera try Sun lanka or Pet#o La#ka. And I think Gilbert car audio sell cool boxes check with them.
  25. Fog lights are used to improve visibility. You can use it during bad weather and fog
