@MasterDon - Seriously this is damn funny... On a serious note... money plays a big role here when choosing a set of wheels but safety too should come 1st. both cars are not to my likeing specially on safety one can topple over and one can't handle side or rear impacts. I stand corrected if you can drop by these auction places where u get to see these cars on head-on collisions and side/rear impacts. These cars just peel off. If u can go for something other then these choices would be good. although we might drive carefully...the dude thats coming towards you might not

well my carina had the same situ...one mechanic just by putting pressure on both sides of front shocks told the were not good and to replace them... called Taas and the price was 18k...later on a friends advice did shock testing to find out shocks were good. had to replace shock boots n razors later though only 6k for all..

Call wat u like mate.... m no fan of any car maker or model...the fact that this car can kick a Porsche n moved the goal post wen it came out...is something to admire about....even the Evo for that matter. even a camaro is something to admire about...it might be crap but it does make one hell of a sound thats enough to bring a smile to ur face....n make the day Awsome

Guys, sad thing is went around calling few places the prices of smart cabs 4.2mil... won't these come down anytime soon. wonder how much a recon 4door hilux would be coz no point asking Toyota they don't bring those.... by the way these vigos, are they still under lorry license or have they changed? then won't they get affected by the price reduction?

Just a quick thought here....before elections a 4door double cab was 80-85laks (with tax) in Toyota...after elections it went shooting sky high to 120laks...m guessing this happened to all car prices (maybe) now they are reducing duty (they say) so won't it just go back to the previous prices??? then hell..again can't buy a decent vehicle right?

well dont know much about the model must be good...there was one on sale here right? but i know dude working in Mitsu Motors according to him GDI engines are not all good maintenance wise as well...IQ n Galant are some cars hvin these engines. guess someone here can give a detailed info on this

i did the tint for our hilux cab from KP...it was pretty good front windscreen is 12k+.whole thing was 17k would recommend to any. there are 4 kinds of tints for the side windows only 2 are legal according to them so much darker once they said need a permit or sumtin

Thankx supra I'm pretty sure yours is equally good :-) this pic was right after my monthly polishing. DevakaC.. i did consider on buying only the shocks from ARB but according to them they won't give any warranty if buying only them...since they say they don't know the condition of the leaf springs and torsion bars etc... On one side the previous owner has put the local leaf spring set also with longer shackles which is not meant for the cab (not original). this is why thought of going to this kit. I like to keep it in an original way so wont go for any bumpers n such. i Know its a pretty big investment since the whole kit doesn't come cheap..so have to be sure. well heavy loads...sometimes done...the guy who previously owned this has changed the shackles for longer ones..maybe it had a suspension kit before and when selling removed them...no idea there. another reason i just got to know is...some people say...the original suspension cannot cope with bigger tires, since its not meant to run with them... any advice on this
