Mazda axela hybrid has auto air conditioning with climate control and dual zone . Even the S-L package has rear A/C vents. Mazda 3 imported through agents has manual A/C controllers.

Came across a few more differences between the Mazda axela hybrid sold at local car sales and the Mazda 3 which is imported through agents. Mazda axela hybrid has the tail lamp with LED'S and also a design which they call the signature lamp which looks pretty cool at night. Mazda 3 imported through agents has a halogen tail lamp with no signature lamp.

I have been using Axio X limited car for 5 years now. Pros Comfortable due to soft suspension as most of JDM cars Decent fuel economy Good power (110bhp for a 1.5L ) Reliability (only routine services no repairs for the past 5 years ) Cons Handling (plenty of body roll while taking corners due to soft suspension ) Engine screaming while overtaking due to CVT gearbox. I haven't driven a FD1 but it would be better in handling than the Axio. Comfort would be more or less the same. Allion A1.8 would do better on fuel in long runs, but less in traffic than axio or fd1. Also as Jor-el pointed out, consider Lancer EX and also Mazda Axela/ given that they are also "fun to drive" cars.

Go for the 1300cc one. Extra 100k worth it. Yes there's an issue in pickup of 1000cc Vitz same as some other 1000cc 3 cylinder cars.

True. There are no ICE 1.5L or 2.0L Axelas brought down by importers, all are 2.0L hybrids. And no one is willing to bring down them either saying that the tax is too much. Even the agents don't bring down Mazda 3 with 1.5L or 2.0L ICE with Skyactiv engine. All we get is 1.6L Non Skyactiv engine. So I hardly think either the importers or the agents would bring down the diesel variants.

As I know A*W is the agent for your swift and they recommend Castr#l. I don't see any harm in using Mob#l either as long as 10w40 is the recommedded oil on your user manual.
