Yes the A9 road..Well once again for the mis hap on 11-17-05 its now closed again...

And Sharkz can you rember in 2001-2002 there was a plan to build a Formula one race track by a Malasyian company in Trinco. Does anyone rember that story?

That Trinco GP story was a stupid theory meant for stupid people. If you have even a basic understaning of what is required to stage a Formula 1 race, you'd know that we are far far away.

If that new 'economic powerhouse/emerging economy' India cannot get one, how the f**k does darkest Trincomalee, smack dab in the middle of an ethnic conflict/civil war mind you, get one?

Only ass-clowns with no understanding of anything other than their own bodily functions would blame Sri Lankan politicians for our lack of a Grand Prix.

Our best bet for International motorsport, you ask? Indo-Sri Lanka races and possibly an FIA Asia-Pacific Rally. Even that is asking a lot.
