Guys im looking for a good sports car(2 door,5 seats).my budjet is up to 15laks. i dont have any idea regarding sports cars available for that price in sl.please help me to find a good car.

these are the options im looking for

1.2 door(its better if its 2 door, 4 door also accepted if there are no any 2 door cars for that price)

2.5 seats

3.convertable top or sunroof(not that much needed)

4.manual or triptronic

5.beat barrel(optional)

6.goodsoundsystem with a subwoofer(optional)

7.fuel consumption must be above 10kmpl

8.yom shud be atleast 1990s

9.shud have a stunning look

10.it is better if it comes with a body kit

can i buy these cars for this price

You could buy a Mazda RX7 or Autozam within that price range.Also you can buy a Honda Delsol I guess (not sure though)

Supra's(all gens) are out of the question I think.RX7 FB or FC is possible but since you are looking for 10kmpl plus economy,which even some of the econoboxes struggle to achieve,I'd stay away from the rotary's.If you must have one there are more than a few which have had their engines replaced with conventional Toyota or Mazda engines.

Checkout Mazda Autozam or Miata,Mitsu FTO,Honda CRX(Del Sol and the second gen CRX),Toyota MRS(Second Gen),Levin & Cynos.Hyundai Coupe...

possible candidates are toyota levin,Cynos , honda del sol (lucky if you find a one!) or a rx 7.

go for the Levin,a hard find in good condition. Also try EP91 Glanza,if you are into starlets

also there's a RX7 in Nugegoda area,but its in bad condition+the owner is asking 17.5 for that. the car sales owner have one mirage(trip trnoic) in pretty good condition.if you need info pm me,will give his contact number. (btw I'm not related to this place,I just checked out the car while gathering up spares for my ride )

You guys might want to keep the 5 seats requirement in mind. I'm sure a RX7 would be hard pressed to be called 2+2. 5 is just fantasizing. I might also suggest a Sera to the list you guys have come up with.

Since the 2 door isn't set in stone, the convert Evo and WRXs are always an option. Dunno about the fuel, but the rest of the reqs should be ok, right?

saw few WRX over at classifieds,I think he can call them & see,since most of them are asking for 'highest price'

Sera option is also possible,but anyone above 6' they wil have a hard time travelling on rear seats.except that Sera is a good car :wub:

to the OP.. a sports car that u want 10KMPL out of in SL is just beyond wishful thinking.. but i think an old EVO would fit the bill nicely.. but he wants appreance as well.. so i dont know.. hmm...

Yes he's gonna have to sacrifice some items on that list if he is to have a sports car.coz right now it seems OP wants to have the proverbial cake,eat it,make love to it and have its babies,all at the same time...not gonna happen!

Hey guys, from the way he has written out his post, I assume the OP's not too experienced with performance, he just wants a good looking sports coupe. So, just a suggestion, but is it such a good idea suggesting him big power cars (like the Evos and the like)? Recipe for disaster methinks.

A nice DC2 Integra should fit the bill well. I guess it's fuel consumption is closer to 10 km/liter as well

You might wanna forget the "sports" requirement. Sports cars have stiffer suspension, not the best option on rougher roads. I think what you are basically looking for is a riced out civic. Should be plenty around.

still schooling +fancy bodykit + 5 seats + loud music/exhaust.... a fine rice-farmer he shall be one day.

But dude, seriously, if you're trying to impress your friends (i presume thats why you want 5 seats), get laid (body kitted 'sports' car) you gotta tell your dad that he's gotta put in more hours at work for your fuel bill.

How about taking the freaking bus, till YOU can afford your trophy-car? in the event of you saying "oh there are no busses going to my area, so i NEED a car blah blah blah" how about you suck it up, buy a 80s or 90s corolla and NOT show off to your friends.

slightly OT: after a dryspell we're getting few kidos trying to fit into big-boy pants. Best was the guy who wanted to put neon on his dad's A6. <<facepalm>>

here i dont need to race .what i need is a good sporty looking car, with 5 seats.2dor or 4 door.

im in matale.so it is better to buy a fully modified car as matale dont have any place for such modifications and i dont have dhat much of time as i still studying.thats y i mentioned im looking for a body kitted one with sub
