Is there a way to find the data of manufacture of a car? I have seen that people have mentioned YOM with the Month (ex. December 2000) when they are advertising the car. How can we know the Month?

It can be seen on a tag attached to the drivers side seat belt, situated at the lower end near the floor, You'll have to move your seats to access this.

as for the year, you must add 1 year to the value on the tag,

I cannot see the month there.

Why we need to add 1 year to the tag value?

My car is manufactured in 2000 and seat belt has the value 2000

I dont need to add one to that figure...that tag on the belt is clearly the the year..but in some models the month is not printed

For the Month, If the car is Japanese Domestic, There is a sticker

on windscreen with 1-12 numbered on a circle.

The exact month that particular care made, is highlighted there.

Else see the driver side door sticker for info to.

I cant exactly say that the month is their. But it has info. like

required tire pressure et.

I know the first two digits of that sticker gives the YOM. But how can we extract the month from rest of the digits?
