can you explain more about this club?..I don't think it's ethical to collect members from Auto Lanka forum by publishing a mobile number.

Actually, you're right. But you're welcome to conduct your activities on the forum, like the Mazda and Ford Club and BMW drivers club guys do.

Maybe organize a physical meet and greet before trying to collect emails and phone numbers. Quite a lot of unethical uses for lists like that, better to meet people and see if you can trust them first.

no taxcut on those, so didn't even bother trying to see what other priuses exist.

Btw, considering how many prius fans we have here when it comes to comparing kmlp numbers, not many seem to be interested in a meet up.

Maybe they should have it out of colombo, that way they can brag on the 30+kmpl they got on the way there. Or maybe they can carpool so that they get even more kmpl 'per person'

I saw one 1st gen at maharagama town recently. The number was wp G11-XXXX, white colour. btw who get's such kinda plates? curious to know the owner.

NHW10 is the launch model. ToyotaLanka boasts selling more than 60 of the first gen range, Sidelining them is not fair I guess.

Over 60 of them? That's curious. You'd think we'd see more of them on the roads then.

That's a garage number plate. Traditionally they are red/white, but i have noted a few who have it in black/white & black/yellow to make them look like the standard plates. You dont notice the anomaly unless you're the type thats looks at the plates of vehicles that pass by. I guess they owner is just trying to run the car 'unregistered' for as long as possible without getting stopped by a cop.
