I do see often that Nissan Primera TP12 (2001/2002) come to sale ( Second hand)on AL.What do you guyz tell about this car? is this economy? Does it have accessories? and how about future market of this car?

I checked few TP12's recently. These go around 1.9 - 2.1 Mil. Car is pretty solid and good pulling power. :angry-smiley-048:

But dont expect much fuel economy with this. Must be doing around 7 - 8 Kmpl in colombo.

I had a TP 12 yr 2002 model JD Number sold for 1.8M fuel 8km /l city , troubles include regular need to change sensor (each around 20K) suspension issues, engine noises , VVT issues ,

Also spares are veryyyyyy expensive !!!!

But comfortable car , very Fasttttt

The TP12 does not come come with VVT. (or VVL for Nissans) looks like you had all these problems cause you had poor knowledge of the car & did not know how to maintain it. 'Spares are expensive' is very subjective and is not constructive advice.

Actually Primera TP12 is a worst car i ever had,i bought for the looks , really a waste of money ,

One example for expensive is CV boot is Rs 7000+ and Shocks 50K, air flow sensor 23k , Speed Sensor 24K, Gaskets Kit 28K , Within 3 Year for repairs i spent over 300K ( all spares bought from the agent and repaired at their workshop)

If buying a around 2 M i think Honda Civic or Toyota better choice

@OP: The AL crowd have been extra easy to pi55 off lately cos of all the trolls - apologies! There are so many Primera threads answering your questions, I myself have responded so many times, so I recommend you use the search feature. Make no mistake the car is a great drive, but its thirsty. I had one of these JJ series some time back temporarily. The seller claimed 8km/l, but it was more like 7/7.5 and the spares were bloody expensive. I don't know what you mean by accessories, like handbags and matching belts and stuff? Not sure, Prius sounds like someone who knows about handbags (and throwing them around!). The car was 2.2mn in 2007 and about 1.8/1.9 now as JayZ says, so you can figure out the future value.
