I am interested in buying the Creative T-40 SE PC speakers.

The local agent "EP*I" does not stock this.

I see it on ebay and on singapore sites.

1. How to order from these site

2. is it a hassle to clear from customs

3.how much % tax would computer speakers attract

Any reliable shop or outfit in srilanka who does the guying and delivering on clients behalf?

First of all you contact the Singapore supplier by Email and if they are willing to send by Air parcel post one unit request a quote by DHL,service and air normal parcel post, the package will come to Post office then you have to clear same from there. Duty adjustments can be done at GPO air Parcel section.Air normal parcel post will be cheaper.

Once you get the quote go to any bank with the suppliers invoice they will send a TT Wire transfer or a draft will be very cheap you have to post same to the Singapore supplier, you pay by cash in srilanka.

If you use DHL, once you get the airway bill number contact Srilanka office of them arrange with them if they are willing for duty adjustment as it is for your personal use. they will clear the parcel and deliver same to your doorstep. You have to pay only duty.
