Ek3 Head Light Projection Conversion Advice.

Hey guys,

has any one done a EK3 stock crustal swap for a aftermarket projection head lights ?

are there any improvement in visibility ?

mine already has 6000K HID, but the visibility is not that great on low beam.

the stereo joint on galle road near hill street has the projector unit which fits the ek. but they want 30k for it. it comes with a set of HID's. i've seem them fitted on an orange color car. but i haven't had any experience with how good/bad they are

you're right about the lights tho. even i swapped to HID's 2 years ago. light scatter is ridiculous. the same guys above focused mine pretty well, but still visibility is pretty poor. i just keep them for the "boru-pade" lol... they do look nice on a dark blue ek...

yeah... for some reason the low beam on the EK3 sucks... cant give with high beams on, its a pain for the other drivers. was thinking to upgrade the fog lamps, don't mind paying 30k since i can still the ones i have, they are in good condition. but don't wanna take the risk of installing it and not having good viability, so wanted get some advice from a guy who has them installed.

Try Projector fog lamps with HIDs. They would be cheaper and will aid the low beam . Eg- Hella Micro DE

Yah. try Motorcade if you want Hella Micro DE. And try motor accessory shops in darley road

Ya, fogs are helpful, a friend's ek3 has the same issue, but his fogs do the job
