Immediate Help On Prius Navigation

Can omebody please help me on my prius 2010 navigation?? I went in to diagnostic mode and when i pressed a button (all in japanese) it went in to the mode where you insert CD/DVD and MAP disk and now it's stuck.. Now even the FM radio is not working.. Nothing is.. I tried offing the engine and starting but still the same. I only can insert a CD/DVD in to the CD slot and Map slot and open and close the cd/dvd compartment but any cd is not being read and nothing happens.. PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!!!

Did you try banging on the side of the console? Always works for me.

I tried everything i know but yet disappointing. Any technical websites that i can inquire about this problem ?

Post a pic of your current screen please. Maybe a member who knows Japanese can translate and tell you which button to press depending on what is displayed on screen.

I prefer posting a pic because even typing it on the keyboard is like GREEK !! I'll post a pic soon because i gotta wait till my dad is not around to take the pic. If he knows he'll kill me!! Most probably within 24 hours.........

Try disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it. It should reset the whole system.

The map dvd system is under the passenger seat. If it was working before hand the map dvd might still be in there. Eject and put it back in again.

Move the passenger seat as forward as possible......and access from rear

Passenger seat ?? How can a CD be put under the front passenger seat? I'll try it anyway.. Also disconnecting the battery ?? It's like being put between life and death!!! I'll try the passenger seat thing as soon as possible but where is it under the seat?????? can i just see it from under???

Dude you dont need to be a drama queen. Disconnecting the battery isnt open heart surgery.

I checked under the seat but nothing and Anyway it's ok and thanks alot for all your help coz now there's fire in the house !!! He heee see u guys in another topic i guess !!!!

I tried to help you contacting several friends of mine who do navigation systems and CD related audio in srlanka, according to them there is no one had succeeded doing this problem yet in srilanka. I think it is better to go in for a new system.

I do not know there may be some one who had done this IN Srilanka according to past posts on this thread no one had given a positive answer.
