I came to know Mr Mario Dias, in a automobile exhibition and had a discussion with him I noticed he has a very good knowledge in Automobiles. Once a relative of mine had a problem had her car cannot move on the middle of the road. I informed him to attend to that he was very helpful and took the car down to his work shop, did the repair changing of the rear axle problem charged her Rupees 6000.00 or something close to that did the job satisfactory.

I personally visited his work shop to thank him. I had a look around his work shop I found he attends to all repairs personally supervise them by himself without sitting in his A/C office, and instructions given to his workers in real professional methods how to use new scan tools and other hand tools. I was impressed for his small set up.

After that I send number of my friends to his work shop they never complained back to me the work was bad.

He may have his Professional charges with heavy overheads and having a work shop in city of Colombo none of the motorists I send there complained back to me as high charges.

Some automobile users want cheap jobs done. Today a car is worth more Than 1/2 million rupees. Automobile owners cannot expect to get any thing done for few rupees.

And we are all entitled to our opinions, mr Sylvi. Now you've met one man who wasn't satisfied with mr. Dias. Me.

He gave me an hour long lecture on why I should use his engine additive. For a 2000cc car the cost was a word short of preposterous. That was what I was not happy about. I never once said his work was bad. In fact it was excellent.

But novice petrol heads like kmscb, I wouldn't recommend it. Poor boy loves his eg8 to a level where he would do anything someone like mr. Dias would say. And I don't think that's where he needs to be right now.

komisiripala would you please tell me where this guy is???i also have an ek multimatic so its better i know this guy.also i have a prob with its RPM fluctuations.many people suggested about changing the throttle body but i'd just show to this guy also and see.also tell me how was the fuel consumption of ur car.thank you!

I have not got any repairs done from him. Because I have all workshop facility three helpers for the automobile service what I do.

The three people two of them are fully trained automobile workers. Now they are totally different section of automobile service.

Even I was accused in this forum for quoting high for a job. There are some members still abuse me.

That is one reason I all ways say opinion differs from person to person.

I am happy you had come out with facts.

I replaced my EG8 plugs and done tune up its doing normally 9-10 city and 12-13 long run with AC. I hv done it from Local Mechanic in kiribathgoda.

machan what's the plugs did u used and number..is this v-tec or carb.. some of my friend says carbs can tuneup for 12kmpl in cities with A/C ..

i need to need it tht....but i chkd one of my lugs get flouded with oil and its spark wire has twisted..others are ok...so i think i need to change tht wire set also.. did u chkd????hav done carb cleaning....

Well guys I think I am not that late to add a comment for this. I took my EK3 to Zaki for a tune (Got the recomendation through Auto lanka members) And I was impressed. He did a good job, I realy felt the diffrence after the tune up.

I didn't saw his name in any of the comments so I thought of add his name to the list.

He is working but not in day times. Asked me to drop the car in the evening and collect it back in the next day morning. Personally I don't keep the car for repairs and leave.

Machang can I know the contacts of this Indika guy from Kolonnawa since I have a Jerky RPM at higher speeds and Im sure its the CVT filters!!
