LJG
You can get your VW bumper plated at IDB Electroplating centre @ Nawanuge Road, Peliyagoda. They have a state of the art electroplating unit. Further being a Government Organization charges are also reasonable

The Don
Regarding a VW, my new beetle didn't start up after installing a new battery, Does anyone know the reason? Sithira, the question is similar to you asking us "my house fell down, do you know the reason?" Beetles have simple mechanics and electronics which anybody can figure out and fix, so just get a competent mechanic to take a look. I know this is not a lot of help, but you have to eliminate causes one by one. If the car is not cranking I'd suspect a blown fuse due to a wire short when the new battery was installed. Sylvi
Regarding a VW, my new beetle didn't start up after installing a new battery, Does anyone know the reason? 'Sithira', Give more details, do you get any answer from the self starter when the switch is turned on. What made you to change a new Battery?. Did you have any problems on the self starter motor before. Sylvi Wijesinghe.
