I've installed GPS Essentials, but couldn't try it out yet. Been testing a thing called My Tracks, thats quite fun. Our cycling friend in Anuradhapura could have found it quite useful, if he had an Android.

There was also an older app I had called GPS Speedo, but I think My Tracks can replace it completely.

Ulysse Speedometer - This is a fun toy I use. The interface is extremely slick, and the display is quite accurate. I use it has an intelligent trip meter.
