Is It Illegal To Import Vehicle Half Cut Or Full

I am searching for AE 110 half cut or full cut. You can easily find AE 110 spares. But when I couldn’t find AE 110 full cut or half cut. I was informed that now it is illegal to import half cut or full cut of vehicles. Is this true.?

Body cuts are now being imported under a special permit by used spares importers and definitely some are being imported illegally. By the way about two months ago I saw AE110 two front cut and one rear cut at Delkanda and Kurunagala. Finding AE110 body cuts could not be that much difficult

U cn import only Face side Half cut...not the Back Cuts....i know one importer who has got permit to import Face cuts...

is it possible to import a partially or fully disassembled car with a complete body, under some sort of a permit, to repair an accident damaged vehicle? the car in question is an alfa 156

Importing of body cuts are banned by law now. Special permits issued based on insurance agency reports for partial cuts on case by case basis. That is also done after very careful scrutiny. But the fact remains , I still see many face and rear cuts at spares agencies surely imported before the new rule or imported illegally.

i think it is the department of import control............... i have tried to import a body shell, and i had to make a request to them....
