Bosch Service Center, Any Experience?

Question

Posted

Has anyone obtained services from the recently opened Bosch Service Center by D*MO?

What was the prices for the routine services and where is it located?

Is it better to go there for routine service or to the agents? (e.g A*W)

Thanks !

K.CYRIL.C PERERA MAWATHA. Its near Sugathadasa stadium.

Was there last week to get some injectors repaired!! Unfortunately they couldn't fix it!!

Anyway they have got down all the top toys from BOSCH!! The newest injector test benchs, wireless diagnostic scanners, etc.. And the place looks really nicely setup, way better than those crampy A*W service centres! & more modern!! :D

As far as for servicing pricing!! not sure.

'KAL',

Any one who has money can import the best of testing and other motor vehicle maintenance related equipment.

If you do not have correct trained personal who can handle them as well as to find faults using the diagnostic instruments there is no use having modern equipment.

For example kleean Park imported all modern accident repair equipment what is necessary for modern vehicle repairs but the owner did not have correct technicians to do repairs with all the modern equipment what they had. At last he sold the service center to Toyata lanka with all new Equipment.

Our technicians are far behind in modern vehicle repairs all of them what they do trial and error jobs. Start changing parts until the fault comes OK.

There by the bill will be very high due to changing unnecessary parts.

Today most automobile users will pay few millions to buy a car. To repair they do not want to spend few thousands so our average intelligent

independent mechanics do not work less than 2500.00 rupees a day.

Most automobile users criticize the garage owners for over charging.

Quite true !

Many turn to Agents for repair hoping things would be better. But, it's not assured.

So, if anyone used the Bosch Services; can they give us an idea about their professional work ?

Thanks!

Sylvi, you are quite correct. But what D*MO is saying is they HAVE the properly qualified technicians , apparently trained abroad.

'CARBON B4',

D*MO may be having trained technicians abroad. But their knowledge will have to be updated at least every six months.

If not Any agent should get down from their manufacturing plants instructors to update the knowledge of our technicians.

Then only our technicians will be able to handle every development on automobiles.Due to fast R&D In developed countries.

Most of our technicians do not possess computers to log into the web and study the developments of automobile industry.

WE are still far behind to our neighboring country India in Automobile industry.
