Nissan Vanette C220 Single A/c

My van has only the Single Front A/C and its blower is not that much powerful i mean its not speed enough so now coz of the the cooler it doesnt matter at all.even though the blower is not that much powerful.Earlier the blower was powerful like nothing now its in vain after the replacement of brush set of the blower motor.and now the A/C guy is saying that coz of new brush set the blower is not powerful and after sometime it will get speed after seating the brush set well.so is there another alternatives to speed up the blower ? plz help

I don't think your AC guy has done it properly BTW why didn't you replace the whole thing (Blower)?

Check your wiring, because your van is few years old, there could be too much resistance in your wiring and the blower motor might not get enough amps to run at full speed. You can check this by connecting a direct line to the blower motor from the battery. Use a wire with a higher current rating for both positive and negative, So even after the direct supply, your blower runs slow.. then the fault is in your motor. Try to replace the blower motor with another. Better to get a used one from a Used spare parts dealer.

It will take some time for the brushes to settle in, during which they'll be ground into shape by the commutator. Make sure to use the blower at the highest setting as much as possible for about a week or so.
