I wanna know about Market price of Peugeot 306 1.4cc 2000YOM Petrol normal car.... . waiting your quick responce

This depends on many factors, including the engine type (EFI/Carb), options, No of previous owners and how well the car is maintained (these should've well maintained with a proper history records to demand a price premium), whether the car got non-english or english numbered plates (since the english no mania has infected the European market).

however, generally the price range for this model varies from 800,000/- (series 1 with carb engine and bearing 19/300/301 plates) to 1.6mil (with HDI diesel engine and english numbered plates). This car should fall on 1.2 mil ~ 1.3 mil range if i'm not mistaken.

Two facts..

1 - When i was on hunt for 406 last year. The auto models were lower priced compared with manual versions.(even though the defect was only on certain model Boxes as i remember).But i

don't know about auto 306

2- when Harshan gives advice about a peugeot. Take it very seriously...! Simply don't just ignore it .

Peugeot 306 - wagon - 1360cc engine,

Carb model,

YOM - 1999,

AC not working, Power shutters not working, Needs to do some paint work.

Engine mileage 250000km

Approximately how much market value will it be..... .

You need to elaborate what the repairs really are. For example, the A/C. Could be a something as simple as a blown fuse (Rs.10) or a blown compressor (Rs.20000). Same with power shutters, could be a inexpensive switch, fuse or wiring, or a expensive motor.

"Some paintwork" is a whole other story.

PS: Go inspect the car with a trusted peugeot mechanic if you can. He should be able to tell you how much the repairs will set you back, then factor that into the price.

Estimate the repairs first, THEN we can give you a guide price... This ain't a corolla so there's no "approximate market price", way too many variables.

Is this guy a proper peugeot mechanic? because your average corner garage makabaas will NOT be able to fix it right and you WILL have problems further down the line. For peace of mind you should go to a Peugeot specialist and have the car checked out..

I checked with the good Peugeot mechanic. As per him, he finds some gearbox nosie when shifting gears and since the engine also ran 250000 km, he suggest not to go beyond 60000/=. Do you guys feel this is too low?

I brought the car lalith@pelawatte(French Lion Motors). He has estimated the reapirs will be around 1.5 lakhs to make the car to usable condition. But as per the owner he told that he will come to 10.5 lakhs finally. Anyway I likes the looks of the car.... Do you think is it recomendable to buy in that price? Peugeot experts pls suggest.

Over one million rupees is way too much for that car., especially with 250,000 Km on the clock... Ideal price ought to be about 600-700,000 maximum.
