Worst customer service. You can't get hold of a customer service representative for more than 5 minutes. Auto tunes and all the rubbish getting activated through sms and I have to pay Rs. 30 every time when it get activates. After that I searched on web how to cancel it, no information so had to call customer support and no body answered for more than 5minutes. WORST COMPANY.

Wanted to withdraw 9 lakhs from Rajagiriya branch from my account. Had to wait around 15 minutes in the sofa, cashier called and said they don't have money and can you go to Borella? I said WTF, I can't go through all this traffic. Then manager discussed with him and gave the money.

One day went to withdraw 3 Lakhs in a morning. They don't have at least 3 lakhs in the bank. ASked me to go to Wellampitiya.

wanted to cache my salary check, It was under my name, not crossed, Manager made a fuzz of it. Asked what is your job, how can you get this much of amount as salary. I said, it;s none of your business and took the cheque and cashed it through Commercial bank without any hazzle.

Calling everyday to open a FD with them. They have the same rates as other local bank. Why risk your money. I said I don't have any money. don't call.

You seem to be flush with cash machang, 5 lacks here, 9 lacks there.... and a big pay cheque there... even considered opening a priority banking account with any of these banks. I am sure they will treat you a bit better.

Or is there a garandiya going over your Kenwood 5 pc setup right now?

I had to get personal with the SLT manager and threaten legal actions to get the 25GB limit removed on my *UNLIMITED* ADSL connection. Yes you read it correct, the limit on the unlimited package.

and a friend of mine said that SLT has called one school kid and threatened that they'll send a report to home stating that he watches porn if he did not agree to transfer his old unlimited adsl line to a new limited one

But surprisingly governmental places seems better. When I called the TRC, the guy was very helpful to sort out my connection and when I goto DS office for anything I get my things done pretty quickly.

What is this 25Gb limit nonsense? Both our home and office connections are bloody slow.

Apparently the old unlimited (by data volume) ADSL connections are not profitable to the SLT and they want to shift the old users to new packages with download caps. So what they do is once your monthly downloads exceed about 25GB, they cap your connection to a bloody low bandwidth around 5kbps.

Then when you make a complain they say that there's an issue with the old connection and ask you to change your line to a new package with a download limit. They act like bloody thugs. I had to fight for about a week to get mine sorted out. But it seems they are not doing that crappy thing anymore.
