sampathpj
Hi Experts, Since few days ago, my vios doesn't show the seat belt sign when I am not wearing it. But previously it showed in red. What's the issue here? Thanks in advance. Sampath

What's the issue here? Thanks in advance. Sampath The led bulb behind the sign has probably failed. A simple way to figure this out is does the light come up when you put the ignition key to the o position before you start? All the lights will light up at this point and disappear once it's started. If it does come up when the ignition key is in the on position, the other problem is probably the sensor in seat belt clip on mechanism or sometimes there is a sensor for the seat as well which detects a passenger is actually on the seat. 0 terrabytetango
Turn the key to OFF (or take it out), and move the drivers seat all the way forward, and look underneath it from the rear. There should be visible a wire with a white connector. Unplug and plug it back in, and then turn the key to IGN. You should now see the seat belt light flash. (this is a Vios btw) Edited October 1, 2012 by terrabytetango
0 razordj
My one has a mechanical failure. When I press the belt lock release button without wearing the belt, the light pops up. otherwise its gone.
