Average Quality Subwoofer For A Sedan

hi friends.. im lokin for an average quality subwoofer for my car. Nissan sunny fb14. my car set doesnt has a subwoofer out. it has 30w X 4 channels only. Front door speakers and back speakers are ok. Im goint to fix a subwoofer.

what is ur idea about this Steelmate product. costs abt 17k in Sun lanka

I've used a Steelmate Active sub before, not this model though, very effective at normal user levels..

There are tube subwoffers for much less price with warranty. You will have less control over your sub if you don't have a sub out on your system. But it's not a must. They can connect it without a sub out.

Having a chinese one almost one year (Brand is DHZECT,or something similar)and still holding well. It will fullfill your requirements as well. Its available in most of the car audio places and price is close to 10k.

is it a bass tube type sub.. larger one or a smaller one. what is da size of the speaker.. is it fixed in ur car.?

using the same/or similar with same type of weird name, almost 6 months, working fine , (don't expect the premium quality though). But it'll do the job.

Yep, its tube type.I think it has a 8 inch speaker delivering more than enough bass for my car, although my player doesnt have seperate sub out. As chan said dont expect the best but its more than enough for a car or van. Edited October 31, 2012 by H.C

thanks for ur ideas friends. definitely ill check for a Chinese sub in this week end.

Recently i took some 4tos of above steelmate product. bt i couldn't get a idea about sound quality.

it contains 10' woofer+ 10' Passive radiator. build quality is solid.

if some one is using this model.. please tel me about da sound quality.

any other options may i look for..

This is what I got for Rs.7000/= It makes enough bass inside of the car with help of adjustments done by the head unit. I do have a dedicated sub out on my head unit. It maybe not enough for a big vehicle.
