0 Schiffer
Ocassionally my car horn is not working at all. after sometimes it works again. Is this due to a weak battery ? Please advice have you check weather the wires connected are loose? and it could be a defect of the horn as well.
0 miniace
Case could be a faulty connection at horn leads, or maybe faulty relay , loose fuse or maybe faulty push button. Not a case with battery im sure. It takes only a few minutes for a good technician to find the fault. MINIACE
0 chan5
four points to check. 1-horn (it's a symptom of a bad horn)- remove it and check with battery. 2- fuse contact - remove the fuse for horn and clean contact points with alcohol/wd40 3 -switch at steering - can use the same cleaning method.use alcohol.(you can buy from pharmacy) 4 -if all are fine , there should be something with your wiring, /relays .probably a plug , and check for those , you can use a multimeter to check the connections, the beep mode. nothing to do with battery -most probably Edited November 5, 2012 by chan5
