Transmission Oil For Toyota Vios

Dear all,

I tried hard to figure out a post related to this, but couldn't.

Could anyone of you please recommend a brand of a type of transmission oil for a Toyota Vios, plus please be kind enough to specify the volume of oil needed as well.

Never used a Vios. But generally you will need about 4 litres of oil for a normal ATF change. If you wish to flush the system, u will need about 10-12 litres.

Toyota will always recommend Toyota Oil. Mobil is pretty good imho.

Perhaps a Vios owner will see this and give a better response.

I use Toyota. normally it takes 4 L .

Yes, Toyota branded ATF oil comes in number of grades to suite different automatic transmission systems implemented by Toyota over the years. The correct grading for your vehicle is probably in the user manual or the dip stick of the gear box.

Caltex Dextron D4... cant go wrong with that. Or Mobil All Purpose ATF.

Toyota branded stuff is anyway the same as everything else found on the market.
