rich getting richer and poor getting poorer is general theory when a developing country goes through a major growth in GDP. However in time to come the gap (Gini Coefficient) would decrease. The rich needs to become rich for the poor to become rich, but newer happens visor versa.

That is not always true. Take Hong Kong and Singapore for examples.

That is very good news. Anyone here has actually done a transfer?

Met a car dealer yesterday. He had just sold a “Permit vehicle”, the buyer was there with him (the seller) . According to him, the transfer is "free" (other than the normal DMV/RMV fees.) Have not done a transfer myself, cannot guarantee accuracy of this information.

Aney manda, people in SL, either worried about fuel cost, Tax rates, and now transfer fees.

When will they ever enjoy the joy of ownership????

No it has the revised duties. Only 2600cc and over has gone up from 80% to 100% i.e 20% all the others have gone up by 10%.

I think there are engine capacity restrictions.

For the USD 25k and 30k there are engine restrictions. But there are supposedly something called the "unlimited" permit. No restriction on that.
