A project I'm working on, anyways I've found 4 near Mount Lavinia but they don't have the adopters. They said I could make them from some lathe ? I don't think that gonna be a easy job at all any alternative ways that these could be mounted ?

not sure about that, i personally don't think that's a good idea either.

guess your better off getting it down from eBay with the adapters and all.

Got hold of the rims need to buy the adopters now.

'Dinukap4',

Adapters you have to make them. I think if they do not fit in to your car wheel hubs.

Can you inform the place what you bought the rims and the cost.

'Dinukap4',

Can you up load the picture of rims what you have bought.

Because I thought you wanted to fix them to your existing wheels of your vehicle.

Picture like what member shiffer had posted and you have confirmed on your reply post.

Can you select the exact adapter what you want from the under web pages.and there is a very important web page regarding wheel adapters.

I'll get some pics soon, Just measured them they are 14x8 Rims a inch wider than the one's I had on. And yeah I'm families with the rims mate did a hell lot of research before buying them, I was asking because if I could get them made here it would cost a lot lower bwtween what size tires will this rim fit on ? Will my old tires fit on it even though its just a inch wider ? I'm a noob when it comes to tires .

PS. This look just like them

Dinukap4,

You say early rims are little bigger. Can you take a pic of a rim what you have.

Just measured them they are 14x8 Rims a inch wider than the one's I had on. And yeah I'm families with the rims mate did a hell lot of research before buying them, I was asking because if I could get them made here it would cost a lot lower between what size tires will this rim fit on ? Will my old tires fit on it even though its just a inch wider ? I'm a nob when it comes to tires .

I checked my Vehicle rims and all have outside measurement 13 Inches. My Tires are 145 R 12 x LT 80.

Therefore your existing Tires will fit as for my observation. There is a one inch difference on the Rim and the Tire.

Please log into the under web page. You will get a clear answer for your question.

Dinukap4,

You can do your self if you have electric drill there are polishing wire brushes available at Panchikawathe hardware stores, there are brass and steel wire brushes various grades with heavy scraping and polishing. If you have a fair mechanical knowledge you can select the brushes.

Do you want to polish your new rims what you have bought. Those are wire spoke rims. Am I correct.

If you log into the web page below you will get a knowledge if polishing the wheels.
