please help me to figure out a good car deal for 6-7 lakhs. This is for a lady (Aunt of mine ). What would be the cars that i could reach from this budget.

well for that range you can try the Lancer C12,Nissan Sunny B11 ,Trad Sunny (but not easy now),Mazda 323,ford laser,or the Toyota DX wagon

Opels (Corsa, Astra, Omega) are very low in price but has good quality interior & exterior due to them being in mid or late 90's. but they are so undervalued due to the parts & maintanance scene. is there a real problem such or is it just lankans need only japs? Even i had my eyes on an Astra but i dint have enough courage to bear the critisism from friends & family for buying an Opel. so gave it up.. Still love dem babes..
