Peugeot 306 - Carburettor Tuning

Hi Friends,

I am having a Peugeot 306 carb 1360cc model car. When I did eco green test last month it failed. In the summary report they have asked me to perform a carb tuning and come back. So I heard of a person called faizal@Maligawatte doing some carb tuning through a friend and brought the car to him. He looked at the emission report and did the tuning. For parts I bought 4 new spark plugs and a new air filter. He removed the carb and cleaned and did something with the distributer and finished the work around an hour and charged me 4000 rupees. Then asked me to take the emission tests back. It became failed again badly and CO levels increased significantly than the previous one. Almost the CO levels doubled than the previous report. Previously the car runs smoothly but now the engine shutting off when shifting gears. I again went to him. He did some tuning for another 10 minutes(I think he increased RPM bit some how and retarded the distributer) and asked to get the report again. It again failed and the engine shutting off problem still persists when shifting gears. And the idle stays in 500RPM. And the fuel economy is 5kmpl with A/C. What shall I do now? Is there any good carb mechanic out there for Peugeot cars? If so pls let me know his contact numbers.
