Pericles
OK, so I thought we'd start a thread for racing games we play, specially for multiplayer stuff, more fun when more people play, after all This first isn't multiplayer, AFAIK, it just showed up on a site I follow. Seems interesting. Not sure I wanna give it a go tho, someone try it out and give some feedback? http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/06/24/new-game-crescent-moon-games-pulls-redline-rush-into-google-play-parks-it-in-the-free-lot/
Pericles
As far as I am concerned, this is the King of Racing games on Android, and its Free! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ea.games.r3_row&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5lYS5nYW1lcy5yM19yb3ciXQ.. Also uses a thing called Time Shifted MultiPlayer, which is not as good as proper multiplayer, but it does provide an element of competition. Links in with your FB buddies, so no need to invite and things. And yes, I know there are NFS and Asphalt series games, but most of those are pay, THIS is premium content for free, and best of all, you can unlock everything in the game without external purchases. Not the case for every game. The only major disadvantage, about 1.5GB download required, and updates can be pretty massive too. But fully, and I mean FULLY, worthwhile. Also, tip, probably better off playing on a tablet, bigger screen helps the graphics look better. And probably better on the 7 inch (like I do), 10 inch tablets might get tiring to hold for long periods I'm at level 63 right now, just FYI. I'm addicted. More than 70 hours played. And only thru maybe 30% of the game. There is more than 1300 races here, IIRC. I've got 23 of 50+ cars. Did I mention its all free? EDIT: Also FYI, the Real Racing 2 is pay, Real Racing 3 is free. They figured out an in app purchase system that isn't really needed, but can be used to speed things along. Like I said, no need to pay for anything, everything is achievable from within the game. With enough patience Edited June 24, 2013 by Pericles
Pericles
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.naturalmotion.csrracing&feature=related_apps#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEwOSwiY29tLm5hdHVyYWxtb3Rpb24uY3NycmFjaW5nIl0. CSR Racing. Pretty decent drag racing game. Graphics look good. Theoretically, everything unlockable from within the game, but not practically. I got bored with it after tier 3 and uninstalled it. But it was pretty good fun for a while.
Pericles
Put this on the forums before so : http://forum.autolanka.com/topic/15119-carmageddon-returns/ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stainlessgames.carmageddonfree&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zdGFpbmxlc3NnYW1lcy5jYXJtYWdlZGRvbmZyZWUiXQ.. There seems to still be a free one around, as well as a paid one. Check and see what the difference is pls
Pericles
I'm just gonna post up a coupe of links to the latest version of two hugely popular games on Play - Asphalt (in this case, Asphalt 7 :Heat) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA7HM&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5nYW1lbG9mdC5hbmRyb2lkLkFOTVAuR2xvZnRBN0hNIl0. and of course, NFS (Most Wanted) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ea.games.nfs13_row&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5lYS5nYW1lcy5uZnMxM19yb3ciXQ.. I haven't played either - They are paid games. I didn't feel like getting bootlegs. They are easily affordable if wanted, but then Real Racing is free, why risk any trouble downloading pirated stuff? Maybe someday I'll pay and get them, but not now. Edited June 24, 2013 by Pericles
Pericles
This is also pretty nice https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vectorunit.yellow&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS52ZWN0b3J1bml0LnllbGxvdyJd Beach Buggy Blitz. Very fun game! Played it for hours! still do, now and then, tho Real Racing takes up most of my time. But well worth trying. I plan to go back to this, hence not uninstalled, still on my tab. But two good things about this game 1. uses the new Google Play Games interface, which allows top scores, achievements, etc, to be stored on the cloud. Sync across devices! and compare with friends! Whoo! 2. Tegra optimized. Also available from the Tegra Zone. Fully playable on other platforms, but you get a few extra special effects on Tegra devices. Of which I have one Oh, and its free. Thats all for now, feel free to add your faves!

Pericles
Real Racing 3 got an update which sorta makes the career and cars accessible part a pain, but it did add Bentley (Continental and Super Sport) and Mercedes (SLS, SL65 Black, and SLS GT3) to the officially licensed drivable cars list. Pericles
This is a fun little time waster when you need to kill a few minutes... esdeez
There was a pretty tricky chinese driving training game Ihad some time back, can't remember what it was called though. Quite tricky when it came to some tight parking situations... And entertaining
Pericles
Has anyone tried this? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftRAHM Gameloft usually has pretty good stuff, but this doesn't look upto par with Real Racing 3. Which has a bunch of updates. I still agree with this. As far as I am concerned, this is the King of Racing games on Android, and its Free!https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ea.games.r3_row&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5lYS5nYW1lcy5yM19yb3ciXQ.. With enough patience The number of cars, tracks and races keep increasing, so plenty to do. Now Level 143 and 82 of 118 cars. Missed out on getting the 918 Spyder Weissach Package for free, very tough There are now 3 Ferrari F1 cars of different generations (412 T2, F14 T and 375 F1) and 6 Le Mans LMP1 racers, including the GT-R LM Nismo in the last Le Mans update. Few in game photos if you wanna check out the ingame graphics quality. I don't normally waste time on it, but ... some experiments. https://goo.gl/photos/iEHzMZAAeFHJvWrk6
