Power Steering Oil Leaks Help

Hi Guys

I have problem in my power steering system,Power Steering oil leaks I could not notice it ,I was heard a liquid in internet there is liquid for stoping the leakage in hose .Do you have any experince and how do you recommended.

please advise me .

hello whats your vehicle model ? where do you live ? rather than top up it & running show it to a mechanic soon. if not it will end up with a mass repair.

It is Toyota Lite Ace CR 27.I found it in servise stattion once sevice is completed Fluid(Oil) leaked I drive 10KMs to home without oil.I am Live in Avissawella.

I want to know any "Addictive in market Sri Lanka that can fix in Leakage in this system' I saw in internet 'LUCUS power stering oil leak fix fuied" Do you recommended this .

i have no idea on that product. what i like to suggest is show it to a mechanic & get advice. never run with out ps oil.

Those additives would simply worsen the matter with time.

They just make inner rubber parts/oil seals to swell and unfortunately they have no control over it!

It may be a leaky oil line,pump or steering rack might need repair.

You also get a used rack/pump from a recon spare shop since CR27 is not a rare model!

First I would check where its leaking from. start looking for leaks from the reservoir, pressure line, Return line, power steering pump and the steering. im not a fan of "fix in a bottle" products its nothing like fixing it in a proper way.

There are two types of products out there one that thickens the power steering fluid that it would stop the leak and the other is a chemical that expands the rubber. personally I wouldn't do use "fix in a bottle" products.
