Market segmentation IMO. Honda EK3 users and Toyota AE100 users belongs to two different market segments. Those in the EK3 market are more feature/performance conscious and less cost cost conscious whereas those in AE100 market are other way round. So in general, a 15 year old car maintained by those with Honda mentality would be in better shape than a car of the same age maintained by those with Corolla mentality. BTW I belong to the Corolla group at present. :speechless-smiley-004:
