Turboing A 4D56

Dear Experts,

i am new to this forum, and i bought a Mitsubishi JEEP with a 4D56 non turbo engine recently,

As it is little sluggish in terms of pulling power, i am thinking of Turboing the 4D56,

But being an absolute ameture man, i dont know how to do it, neither my garage man...

Is it possible to install the stock turbo setup into a non-turbo engine ?

and what the cost would be ?

Your opinion will be highly appreciated..

In theory yes but it will cost a LOT both in terms of cash and time because you can't simply bolt on a turbo to a non turbo motor and expect it to work. Not worth the trouble to be honest.

A better option would be to find a 4D56 turbo engine from panchikawatte or delkanda and drop it in. Far better choice.
