Hi

I'm hoping to install 80W x2 Amplifier to my Honda Civic 1998 model.

Looks this Amp consume more power. What is the recommended amp operation time when the engine of off mode. I should start the car without jump start.

in generally what will be the amperage of car amplifire

Well as a rule of thumb don't generally run an amp on Battery alone. But still it's good to go on a few minutes of battery. Not more. I run two amps and haven't had battery drain problems yet. 650watt and 400watt

i have run my sub and 4 door speakers for well over an hour on battery alone without any issues. Sub amp is 200w range i think cos it's firing a single 8".

Not too bothered as it's a manual so worse case, jump starting is a breeze. I got a 90ah battery though.

One more thing, if you're going for a high power amp, it's best to have a grounding kit installed as well. It helps prevent a power surge when you turn on the car. Search eBay for "pivot grounding kit" you'll find it
