B2Spirit
From what i heard the Japanese cars were not much impacted with this valuation fiasco. I have used the values of some Japanese models from this site recently and they r closer to the current custom FOB valuations. But unless its a common model this site won't help i guess. The conflict was mainly on the valuation of European models. (Ex: The valuation of BMW 520d Varies by about 7000 dollars between new and old valuations.) Yeah..that is what I was wondering...After checking the Japanese prices seems like the FOB valuations are pretty much the pre-sales/consumption tax prices of the cars over here...(unlike in other countries you can't get a refund for the tax when exporting the car from Japan...well..for the most part...)
