You know that there is no government set control price for spare parts. It's not like the price of a cylinder of gas, which is fixed.

If you want to have an idea about the price, go to ebay.co.uk and find out.

Brand new prices would be insane.. when I checked back in 2006, agent quoted 140k only for the ECU. Price of the BSI usually floats around 70-75K.

In this case you're at the mercy of used spare parts dealers who bring down these bits and pieces from UK.

Did you search around usual Peugeot spare parts joints around Panchikawatta? There are quite a few places which stocks used Peugeot spare parts.

If you can't settle with the prices panchikawatta guys quoting, then best is to weekend newspapers, there are many individuals who brought down parts of a single car or few spare parts from UK

Open mind for genuine automobile users... yes. But if used parts importers try to gather information from AL to artificially inflate the prices of their parts, then I for one, am against it. Some people have been in this forum long enough to smell a guerilla marketer, from a mile away.
