Prius 2 Nd Gen - Audio System Aux Connector

Dear All,

I have prius 2 ng generation car. But the audio system does not have AUX connectior. But I beleve there should be a way to provide audio in most probebly from the back side connector. Does any one have idea availability of such connector. Please refer the below link.

Did you check for the aux.port located inside the center console box?.

Thank you very much for replaying me.

What you mean by aux.port located inside the center console box ? You mean back side of the CD player ? I did not try it until I confirm because it require to remove lot of components of the dash board ..

You don't have to remove anything. Did you open the link that I provided?. The center console box is the one which is located between the two front seats, used also as a armrest. Just pull open it and you will find the 12v aux.power socket and the auxiliary audio input socket inside.

It has the 12 V power socket But does not have AUZ audio in connector

Didn't know that some models are without this option. Anyway I think any reputed shop like Pet#o, Advance,or Sunlanka can do a decent upgrade to your stereo system.
